Join us in Adelaide this November for our annual in-person Advance to Zero Learning Session, bringing together community teams from across the country who are working to end homelessness.

This two-day event is your opportunity to connect, learn and share with others in the Advance to Zero movement. You’ll hear from community leaders and improvement experts, take part in breakout sessions on real-world challenges and dive into what it means to empower people and communities on the path to zero homelessness.

Gain the knowledge and skills required to effectively use the Australian Homelessness Vulnerability Triage Tool (AHVTT). This online training session will provide an engaging opportunity to learn about the:

• Development of the tool, including insights from people with lived experience of homelessness and First Nations people
• Key differences between the VI-SPDAT (the previous version of the tool) and the AHVTT
• Resources available to support the use of the AHVTT
• Application and use of the tool across various levels - triage, case management, practice improvement, policy, and systems reform
• Relationship to data collection and impact
• Cultural engagement framework and safety in the use of the tool.

No prior familiarity with the AHVTT (or its predecessor, the VI-SPDAT) is required to attend this event.

After making its Australian debut in 2023, the Leadership Academy on Ending Homelessness is back in 2026 – with events in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane in February.

This impactful program is designed for people and organisations who are leading the charge to end homelessness in Australia. Through a mix of reflection, connection and practical tools, the Academy equips participants to grow their leadership and drive meaningful change.
